At the invitation of Chinese Vice-President Hu Jintao, President Amani Abeid Karume of Zanzibar of the United Republic of Tanzania will pay an official visit to China from Aug. 21 to 26.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Kong Quan made this announcement in Beijing Tuesday.
