Few hours before US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice's arrival in Kabul, a rocket hit the city left one people injured early Wednesday morning.
The rocket hit Wazir Akbar Khan district of the city, where many foreigners and agencies are located, around 4:15 AM (local time), a witness told Xinhua. One policeman was badly injured during the blast, whose blood was spread at the site.
The injured was taken to the hospital while Afghan police and the International Security Assistance Forces have blocked the way to the scene.
No body has claimed the responsibility for the attack so far.
Rice, who is on her central Asian countries' tour, will talk with Afghan President Hamid Karzai on the bilateral issues, regional issues including war on terrorism, US support to Afghanistan and situation in the region.
It is Rice's second visit to Afghanistan over the past one year.
Over 20,000-strong US-led coalition forces have been fighting Taliban and al-Qaida loyalists in Afghanistan since the ouster of Taliban regime nearly four years ago.
