Oct. 28: The drafts reviewed at the 30th Session of the 10th NPC Standing Committee

FROM:  General Office of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC)

SUBJECT:  From October 24 to 28, the 30th Session of the 10th NPC Standing Committee will continue to review four bills including the draft law on urban and rural planning, the draft amendment to the civil procedure law, the draft revision of law on lawyers and the draft revision of law on conserving energy.

The NPC Law Committee suggests the draft laws be approved through voting by this session of the Standing Committee, and if the drafts are approved, officials from the Legislative Affairs Commission of the NPC Standing Committee and from the NPC Financial and Economic Affairs Committee will be invited to answer questions from the press over the laws..
