The popularization rate of telephone use in the province is 14.91 percent, of which, the urban rate is 54.61 percent; in rural areas, 93.4 percent of villages can be reached by telephone. The multimedia communication net, known as Yanzhao information port, is now available.

There are 42 TV transmitting and relay stations. The TV coverage rate is 97.42 percent.
