Promote Construction of a Global Community of Shared Future

The concept of a global community of shared future reflects a vision of building the world into a peaceful and harmonious place and promoting principles for handling international relations such as "winning over distant people with kindness" and "peaceful coexistence among all nations," as well as codes of concord such as "harmony is most precious" and "always keep one's word." It also hearkens to principles of pursuing the greater good and shared interests as expressed in the lines such as "Considering the gains to the world when calculating one's own gains," "To establish oneself, first let others establish themselves; and to achieve one's own goals, first let others achieve theirs," and "Be the first to worry about troubles and the last to enjoy pleasure." It connotes the broadminded nature of "a vast ocean that admits all rivers." Promoting construction of a global community of shared future does not involve replacing one system with another or one civilization with another. It is about promoting mutually beneficial coexistence by sharing benefits and responsibilities among countries regardless of social systems, ideological beliefs, historical and cultural backgrounds, or levels of development.

A global community of shared future is the inevitable future of people all over the world. China believes that the international community should devote more effort to building partnerships and promoting security, economic development, cultural exchange, and ecological progress to foster a planet of lasting peace, universal security, and common prosperity and a home that is open, inclusive, and clean and beautiful.

人類(lèi)命運(yùn)共同體的理念包含“天下太平”“共享大同”的世界建設(shè)愿景、“懷柔遠(yuǎn)人”“協(xié)和萬(wàn)邦”的國(guó)家相處之道、“和為貴”“言而有信”的交往準(zhǔn)則、“計(jì)利當(dāng)計(jì)天下利”的義利觀、“己欲立而立人，己欲達(dá)而達(dá)人”的仁愛(ài)精神、“先天下之憂(yōu)而憂(yōu)，后天下之樂(lè)而樂(lè)”的使命擔(dān)當(dāng)以及“海納百川，有容乃大”的寬廣胸懷。推動(dòng)構(gòu)建人類(lèi)命運(yùn)共同體，不是以一種制度代替另一種制度，不是以一種文明代替另一種文明，而是不同社會(huì)制度、不同意識(shí)形態(tài)、不同歷史文化、不同發(fā)展水平的國(guó)家在國(guó)際事務(wù)中利益共生、權(quán)利共享、責(zé)任共擔(dān)。

構(gòu)建人類(lèi)命運(yùn)共同體是世界各國(guó)人民前途所在。中國(guó)倡導(dǎo)國(guó)際社會(huì)從伙伴關(guān)系、安全格局、經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展、文明交流、生態(tài)建設(shè)等方面作出努力，建設(shè)持久和平、普遍安全、共同繁榮、開(kāi)放包容、清潔美麗的世界。
