The China-CEEC Summit

On April 26, 2012, the first China-CEEC Leaders' Meeting was held in Warsaw, Poland, marking the official launch of cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC). The summit is a cross-regional cooperation platform jointly built by China and CEEC countries based on traditional friendship and common wishes for win-win cooperation and common development. It is the pacesetting activity for the cooperation mechanism. In February 2021, the summit was held via video, with President Xi Jinping chairing the meeting and delivering a keynote speech. In the speech, he incisively summarized the principles of cooperation between China and CEEC countries such as making decisions through consultation, delivering benefits to all cooperation partners, pursuing common development through openness and inclusiveness, and achieving greater growth through innovation. This summit was the highest-level leaders' meeting since the establishment of the China-CEEC cooperation mechanism.

Although China and Central and Eastern European coun- tries differ in terms of geography, history, culture, and development path and stage, they all have strengths to tap to achieve win-win results through cooperation. China-CEEC cooperation has become a new growth pole in China-EU relations and acts as a bridge between Asia and Europe.

中國(guó)—中東歐國(guó)家領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人峰會(huì)

2012年4月26日，首次中國(guó)—中東歐國(guó)家領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人會(huì)晤在波蘭華沙舉行，中國(guó)—中東歐國(guó)家合作正式啟動(dòng)。這是中國(guó)和中東歐地區(qū)國(guó)家以傳統(tǒng)友好為底色，基于合作共贏、共謀發(fā)展的共同意愿攜手打造的跨區(qū)域合作平臺(tái)。中國(guó)—中東歐國(guó)家領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人峰會(huì)是這一合作機(jī)制的引領(lǐng)性活動(dòng)。2021年2月，中國(guó)—中東歐國(guó)家領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人峰會(huì)以視頻方式舉行，習(xí)近平主持峰會(huì)并發(fā)表主旨講話，精辟總結(jié)了共商共建、務(wù)實(shí)均衡、開放包容、創(chuàng)新進(jìn)取的中國(guó)—中東歐國(guó)家合作原則。此次峰會(huì)是中國(guó)—中東歐合作機(jī)制建立以來舉行的最高級(jí)別領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人會(huì)晤。

中國(guó)—中東歐國(guó)家合作參與國(guó)雖然所處地域、歷史文化、發(fā)展道路和階段不盡相同，但都能在其中各展所長(zhǎng)，合作共贏。中國(guó)—中東歐國(guó)家合作已成為中歐關(guān)系新的增長(zhǎng)點(diǎn)，也發(fā)揮著亞歐橋梁的作用。
