Respecting, Accommodating and Protecting Nature

Protecting the eco-environment is a major political issue related to the mission and purpose of the CPC as it is a major social issue impacting people's wellbeing. At its 18th National Congress, the CPC called on the people to respect, accommodate and protect nature.

Respecting nature is a sound attitude to adopt. Humanity must revere nature and be grateful to nature, respect nature and its capacity for revival and circulation, instead of attempting to dominate nature.

Accommodating nature is a basic principle to observe. Humanity must follow the ways of nature and the objective laws governing economic and social development.

Protecting nature is a responsibility to take. When taking what we need for survival, we should cherish and repay nature, and protect ecosystems.

尊重自然、順應(yīng)自然、保護(hù)自然的生態(tài)文明理念

生態(tài)環(huán)境是關(guān)系黨的使命宗旨的重大政治問題，也是關(guān)系民生的重大社會問題。中共十八大提出樹立尊重自然、順應(yīng)自然、保護(hù)自然的生態(tài)文明理念。

尊重自然，是人與自然相處時(shí)應(yīng)秉持的科學(xué)態(tài)度，即人對自然應(yīng)懷有敬畏之心、感恩之心，尊重自然界的存在、再生和循環(huán)能力，而絕不能凌駕其上。順應(yīng)自然，是人與自然相處時(shí)應(yīng)遵循的基本原則，即人要順應(yīng)自然的客觀規(guī)律，按照客觀規(guī)律推動經(jīng)濟(jì)社會發(fā)展。保護(hù)自然，是人與自然相處時(shí)應(yīng)承擔(dān)的重要責(zé)任，即人向自然界索取生存發(fā)展之需時(shí)，應(yīng)主動呵護(hù)自然、回報(bào)自然，保護(hù)生態(tài)系統(tǒng)。
