Guizhou, a Competitive Province in Tourism

The average temperature in summer is only 23°C in Guizhou, so the whole province is just like a "naturally air-conditioned room". Guiyang, capital city of the province, is hailed as a "Summer Resort of China", and Liupanshui is known as a "Cool City of China". There are also other famous summer resorts in Guizhou, including Bijie City, Anshun City, Qiannan Prefecture and Qianxinan Prefecture, as well as some of China's top ten counties for taking vacations in summer.

Guizhou has a booming tourism industry. There are up to hundreds of millions of tourist visits to the province every year. A smart service platform, "Tour of Guizhou via One Code", has been launched as part of the province's endeavor to present first-rate tourist service. The platform offers tourists the access to all-round services with just a scan of QR code.

Since the beginning of 2021, Guizhou's tourism industry has picked up speed again. Intensified efforts have been made to boost its development along with new industrialization, new urbanization and agricultural modernization, for the purpose of turning Guizhou into a competitive province in tourism by creating a top-notch mountain tourism destination for the world and a first-rate health resort for China.
