Protection of National Interests in the New Domains

New security domains are the areas entailing emerging security concerns, such as space, internet, AI, and biotechnology. They are distinguishable from traditional security areas and represent the development of security issues in our time. While they are the most dynamic areas of technological development on which humanity's future depends, efforts must be made to ward off and counter the potential threats to national security. It is essential in this respect to join global efforts for shared development, use, and management of technologies in the new security domains. 

Guided by a vision for development that benefits all and emphasizes innovation, coordination, environmental protection, and openness, China will continue to build capacity in new and emerging areas to protect its national interests from any potential threat and support peaceful use of new technologies. 

China's active participation in global security governance in the new domains in recent years has contributed significantly to the wellbeing of humanity.  

維護新型安全領域利益

新型安全領域，是相對于傳統(tǒng)領域而言、引領時代潮流的新興安全空間，具有鮮明的時代特征，主要包括太空、網絡、人工智能、生物等領域，是當前科學技術發(fā)展應用最活躍的新領域，是人類未來生存發(fā)展的新領域，是維護國家安全的新領域。維護新型安全領域利益，應秉持共同開發(fā)、共同利用、共同管理的基本政策，堅持創(chuàng)新、協(xié)調、綠色、開放、共享的發(fā)展理念，加快推進新型領域安全能力建設，為維護國家安全利益、和平利用新型領域提供重要支撐。近年來，中國積極參與新型領域的國際安全治理，為造福人類作出了重要貢獻。
