"Mission Harmony"

"Mission Harmony" is a series of Chinese-led international humanitarian actions in the form of medical services. China's naval hospital ship Ark Peace plays a prominent role in these missions.

With a displacement of 14,300 tons, the Ark Peace is the first ocean-going hospital ship of its kind specially designed and built by China. It has a total surface area of 4,000 square meters, and five zones for patient transfer, medical examination, outpatient care, hospitalization, and medical evacuation. It is often dubbed "the Ark of Life."

Between 2010 and November 2019, the ship undertook seven overseas missions across the Pacific, Indian and Atlantic oceans and visited 43 countries and regions in Asia, Africa, Europe, Oceania, North America, and South America, covering a distance of 240,000 nautical miles. It has provided free medical care to 230,000 people. "Mission Harmony" promotes international cooperation in medical services, and brings to the world the love of peace and the love of life.

“和諧使命”系列任務(wù)

“和諧使命”系列任務(wù)是中國主導(dǎo)的國際人道主義醫(yī)療救援行動。海軍“和平方舟”醫(yī)院船是中國自行設(shè)計(jì)建造的第一艘制式遠(yuǎn)洋醫(yī)院船，排水量14300噸，設(shè)有傷病員換乘、檢傷分類、門診、住院、后送撤離五大醫(yī)療區(qū)，總面積4000平方米，被譽(yù)為海上“生命之舟”。自2010年以來，截至2019年11月，先后7次遠(yuǎn)赴海外執(zhí)行任務(wù)，訪問43個國家和地區(qū)，累計(jì)航程24萬余海里，免費(fèi)接診病患23萬余人次，在太平洋、印度洋、大西洋和亞洲、非洲、歐洲、大洋洲、北美洲、南美洲留下了中國“紅十字”的身影和航跡。“和諧使命”系列任務(wù)，打造了國際醫(yī)療合作品牌，向世界傳播了中國軍隊(duì)維護(hù)和平、關(guān)愛生命的真誠態(tài)度。
