The Campaign to Educate Party Members About the Mass Line

The CPC made a strategic decision at its 18th National Congress to launch a campaign to educate Party members about the mass line. The campaign started in June, 2013, and was basically concluded by October, 2014. It was mainly about serving the people, being pragmatic and being incorruptible, and took place throughout the entire Party from the top down in two phases. This campaign gave Party members and officials a deeper understanding of the Marxist perspective on working with the people; it made effective inroads against the "Four Malfeasances"; and it revived and encouraged the great traditions of criticism and self-criticism. It refined institutional systems by focusing on changing work practices, led to breakthroughs in critical issues directly affecting the interests of the people, and further strengthened the foundation of the Party's governance.

開展黨的群眾路線教育實踐活動是中共十八大作出的一項戰(zhàn)略決策?；顒訌?013年6月開始，2014年10月基本結束，以為民、務實、清廉為主要內容，在全黨范圍內自上而下分兩批開展。通過開展這次活動，廣大黨員、干部受到馬克思主義群眾觀點的深刻教育，形式主義、官僚主義、享樂主義和奢靡之風得到有力整治，恢復和發(fā)揚了批評和自我批評優(yōu)良傳統(tǒng)，以轉作風改作風為重點的制度體系更加完善，影響群眾切身利益的癥結難點得到突破，黨的執(zhí)政基礎更加穩(wěn)固。
