The 6th International Conference on Power Transmission & Distribution Technology, hosted by China Electricity Council, organized by China Electricity Council International and China Electricity Council Power Supply Association, and co-organized by China Southern Power Grid Guangzhou Power Supply Bureau and China Electric Power Information Center Beijing Zhongdianqiuzhen T&D Co., Ltd., will be held in Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center on November 10-12, 2007.
The biyearly conference has experienced five successes and drawn considerable attention. Now, it is growing into a big brand and also a periodic event for experts, scholars, top executives, manufacturers and consumers, benefiting the technical exchanges a lot. With the keynote speeches at plenary session and parallel sessions, this conference will highlight the theme of sustainable power grid and power transmission & distribution technology of China.
An exhibition also will open concurrently to show the new technologies and products. The concurrent exhibition will help exhibitors engaged in the three days’ technical exchange with the conference delegates, including domestic and international experts, scholars, engineers and top executives in the fields of power transmission and distribution. A seminar on deepening reform and board of directors, in conjunction with the conference, will be convened by China Electricity Council Power Supply Association with the participation of leaders of 237 electricity utilities nationwide.
The mission of the conference is to build an international platform of technical exchanges for the latest power transmission and distribution technology and management experience, to upgrade transmission and distribution level, and to translate the products and experience into power grid construction of China.
