China Eastern Airlines Co. has promised to donate international and domestic tickets valued at one million yuan to participants of the upcoming APEC economic leaders' meeting.
Wu Yulin, vice-president of the Shanghai-based airlines, has signed an agreement to the effect with the preparatory committee of the meeting recently.
Twenty-nine other companies in China are also committed to supporting the meeting.
Leaders of the member economies of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) are scheduled to meet in Shanghai next month.
