The Red Cross Society of China has given US$30,000 to Thailand for disaster relief.
The money was passed on to Red Cross Society of Thailand through the Chinese embassy in Thailand.
Nine provinces in southern Thailand have suffered from severe floods caused by rainstorms. The flood has caused deaths and injuries among local people, and resulted in major disruptions to traffic.
