The next round of talks between Iraq and the United Nations will take place in Vienna, Austria, in early July, a UN spokesman said Tuesday.
"I could confirm that they would take place in Vienna, Austria," UN spokesman Fred Eckhard responded to questions on the date and location of the next round of UN-Iraq talks at a press briefing in New York.
He added that no exact date was yet set but "they would occur in early July."
Meanwhile, UN Office of the Iraq Program (OIP) said in a weekly update that the country's oil exports increased after month-long halt.
"There were 6.9 million barrels of oil lifted in the first weekof exports, following Iraq's termination of its month-long self-imposed stoppage," the office said.
