There were 369,824 flights in China in the second quarter of 2006, and the flight punctuality rate reached 80 percent, according to sources with the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China.
The latest statistics show that China's aircraft transported some 38,854,700 passengers in the second quarter. For every million passengers, only 28 complained about airline services. In the same period, China's aircraft also carried 15,639,428 pieces of luggage, with an error rate of only 2.04 per 10,000 pieces.
China's fourth largest airline, Hainan Airlines, achieved the highest punctuality rate, with 83.50 percent.
