An overpass inside a shopping mall in downtown Kunming, capital of southwest China's Yunnan Province collapsed Thursday, killing three construction workers on the spot.
The overpass is four meters above the groundfloor of the Panfeng Shopping Mall. The workers were working on removing the overpass.
Three pieces of gigantic concrete blocks fell down crushing on the workers when the overpass collapsed. Over 40 firemen took two hours to remove the debris from the bodies.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
