The China Automobile, Fittings and Motorcycle Export Fair will make its debut in Guangzhou today.
Jointly sponsored by the China Chamber of Commerce of Automobiles and Motorcycles, the Guangdong Provincial Chamber of Commerce of Automobile Fittings Products, the Guangzhou Chamber of Commerce of Automobile Fittings Products and the Guangzhou Flower City International Exhibition Co, the event will continue until next Wednesday.
On display at the event are a wide range of automobiles including buses, economical cars, vans, special vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, related components, articles for daily use, manufacturing equipment, and related technological solutions for automobile research and development, as well as services for automobile repair and maintenance.
According to Lin Ruiyan, vice-president of Guangzhou Flower City International Exhibition Co Ltd and deputy director of the fair's organizing committee, the expo will help domestic suppliers of automobiles, components, manufacturing equipment, technological solutions and other related services to break into the global market.
He said that he was fully confident of a business boom at the expo, basing his confidence on the tens of thousands of foreign business people who are attending the 96th session of the Chinese Export Commodities Fair.
The event is held at the same time as the Chinese Export Commodities Fair, which opens today and lasts until the end of this month, so that exhibitors can benefit to the utmost from the resources of buyers of the latter, he said.
The event also offers a platform for exhibitors who cannot afford a booth or who are not up to the standard for a booth at the Chinese Export Commodities Fair, to forge business ties with foreign business people, to get easier access to the global market.
He said that the organizing committee has also made great efforts to invite professional buyers, especially those in European countries and the United States.
