Wives of ambassadors from 19 Arabic countries raised fund on May 9 at a charity auction for the women and children who fell victim to the May 12 earthquake. The proceeds from the auction will go to a charity fund. The event will be featured by distinctive exhibitions set by the participant wives of ambassadors.
At the auction, wife of Saudi Arabic Ambassador and wife of Kuwaiti Ambassador made a speech to express sympathy and condolence for what the afflicted people have gone through over last year. Moved by the courage and persistency shown in the rebuilding efforts, they are willing to try their best to help the women and children in the disaster areas.
