Two patients among the victims of a fake drug produced by a
northeast China's pharmaceutical company are in critical condition
in south China's Guangdong Province, a local hospital reported
Wednesday.
"The two patients, both surnamed Chen, have fallen into complete
coma, and doctors are making all efforts to save their lives," said
a doctor with the Third Hospital affiliated to Sun Yat-sen
University in the provincial capital Guangzhou.
So far, nine people have died in Guangdong after using the fake
Armillarisni A injection made by the Qiqihar No. 2 Pharmaceutical
Co. Ltd., a private drug maker in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province.
