Born in July 1945, ethnic Han, a native of Cixi of Zhejiang Province; member of China Jiu San (September 3) Society and member of Communist Party of China (CPC); started working in December 1968; graduate of Xi'an Medical College; master of medicine, professor, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
