People of different ethnic groups hold a celebration at the end of 2010 in suburban Chengdu, Sichuan Province, southwest China. On May 12, 2010, Sichuan was hit by an 8.0 magnitude earthquake. A total of 19 provinces and municipalities in eastern and central China paired up with quake-hit regions to help them recover from the disaster.
