Memorial Hall of Wu Jingzi (1701—1754, a famous novelist of the Qing Dynasty)

Situated in the east of Anhui province, Chuzhou city exercises its jurisdiction over two districts (Langya and Nanqiao), two cities (Tianchang and Mingguang) and four counties (Lai'an, Quanjiao, Dingyuan and Fengyang). It has an area of 13,300 square km and a total population of over 4.4 million. Recent years have witnessed the city gaining significant progress in developing industry, trade and tourism.

Chuzhou, blessed with great natural beauty and many historical and cultural sites, has four national forest parks, 59 cultural relic sites under state, province and city protection, and more than 40 scenic spots. The Langya Mountain National Forest Park to the southwest of the downtown area features dense forests and picturesque landscapes. Other tourist attractions include the Imperial Tombs of the Ming Dynasty (1368—1644), Site of the Middle Capital of the Ming Dynasty, Longxing Temple, Memorial Hall of Wu Jingzi (1701—1754, a novelist of the Qing Dynasty), Langxiang Mysterious Valley, Gaoyou Lake, Biyun Lake and Nvshan Lake.

Additionally, in Dingyuan county, the Outang Cemetery of Revolutionary Martyrs and Wangxiaomiao Cemetery of Unknown Revolutionary Martyrs of the New Fourth Army are worth visiting.
