Brand Finance, known for its brand valuation expertise, recently released the City Index 2023. The ranking, based on a global survey of nearly 15,000 respondents across 20 countries, measures perceptions of the world's top 100 cities.

To fully assess the city brands in the ranking, the survey measured not only familiarity but also general reputation and personal considerations. Participants were asked about their views on each city as a place to live, work (both locally and remotely), study, retire, visit, or invest.
