An exhibition on Tibet history is now on display at the Beijing Cultural Palace of Nationalities to show the changes of Tibetan people's life over the past six decades. After the peaceful liberation of Tibet in 1951, especially after the reform and opening up policy was introduced into China in 1978, China has been working hard to improve the livelihood of farmers in Tibet Autonomous Region.
