A man who threatened to bomb a kindergarten in Guangdong Province's Sanshui City was sentenced to one year in prison, the Guangzhou Daily reports.

Last September, the man, under the influence of alcohol, called police and said he would place explosives in a kindergarten in southern Sanshui. He didn't follow through on the threat, but police took it seriously and evacuated the school.
