China's first commercial will be broadcast in the U.S. during Chinese President Hu Jintao's visit to the country later this month.

Two versions, one 30-second ad and one one-minute ad, were produced for different broadcast carriers. They both present Chinese people from different walks of life, including Yang Liwei, the first Chinese in space, and Yao Ming.

The commercial will later be aired in Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. According to Wang Zhongwei, vice minister of the State Council Information Office, the commercial can also be seen on the Internet.
