China has no problem to reach the annual target of 8-percent economic growth, Li Xiaochao, spokesman for the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), said Thursday.

China sees increasingly evident momentum of economic growth and the overall situation is "turning favorable", Li said.

The country's economy grew 7.7 percent in the first three quarters.
