The "The Temple of Earth and Me" book fair, a side event of the 2024 Beijing Culture Forum, concluded on Monday. The event attracted 506,700 readers over 11 days. 

Showcasing over 400,000 books, the book fair offered a wide variety of genres, including literary works, healthcare guides, children's picture books, science popularization books, and foreign publications, catering to readers of all ages. 

Over 140 publishing groups presented their signature works, while brick-and-mortar bookstores offered cultural products. 

The book fair gained popularity among book lovers and became a trending buzzword on social media platforms. In addition, 167 cultural activities took place over the 11-day event, featuring literary celebrities who shared reading and writing experiences. Visitors were also treated to singing and dancing performances and poetry recitals on the day of the Mid-Autumn Festival.
