The world's largest indoor ice sculpture exhibition hall was
recently built up in this capital of northeast China's Heilongjiang
Province known as China's "
ice city."
The exhibition hall, covering a total area of 5,000 square
meters and consuming 2,000 cubic meters of ice, has created a
perfect summer resort for both local residents and tourists.
The sculptures on display include a 6-meter-high Temple of
Heaven and a 120-meter-long Great Wall.
It is learned that the building, at a cost of 11 million yuan,
will be open to the public year-round, but the sculptures on
display will change annually.
