The Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army was the earliest anti-Japanese armed force established by the CPC. They fought the longest resistance against Japanese aggression under the harshest conditions. In the vast forests and snowy plains between the Changbai Mountains and the Heilongjiang River, they bravely confronted national disaster and fought with their blood and lives, leaving a glorious chapter in the history of China's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. The spirit of the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army is among the great spirits included in the first batch of inspiring principles for Chinese Communists by the CPC Central Committee. Statistics show that there are nearly 700 Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army sites, 35 memorial facilities, and over 100,000 cultural artifacts and collections, serving as vital testimony to the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army's 14-year struggle. Through coordinated efforts by local authorities and various departments, work on preserving and promoting the cultural relics of the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army has been steadily advancing. This collaborative approach has laid a solid foundation and accumulated strong momentum.

First, we have strengthened policy guarantees. We established the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army revolutionary cultural heritage protection zone and incorporated 16 Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army memorial halls into the first three batches of the national free museum access program. We also jointly issued the three-year action plan for the protection of Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army revolutionary cultural relics and signed a cooperation agreement to coordinate the protection and utilization of the Hongshilazi anti-Japanese guerrilla base in Panshi.

Second, we have enhanced protection. We have completed a total of 72 archaeological surveys and excavation projects at Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army sites. We have carried out more than 200 protection and display projects, and have continuously advanced the complementary goals of site preservation, forest conservation, and environmental protection.

Third, we have deepened revitalization and utilization. We have launched a total of 42 basic exhibitions, 76 special exhibitions, and more than 300 themed activities. We have conducted over 2,000 exhibition and lecture activities on the theme of the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army. The integration of Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army heritage preservation with red tourism, winter tourism and educational travel shows increasingly evident development potential.

Looking ahead to the 15th Five-Year Plan, we will focus on advancing the systematic protection of Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army sites. We will concentrate our efforts on deepening research into the value of Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army cultural relics. At the same time, we will improve the quality of themed exhibitions. We will also expand the educational functions of Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army stories, vigorously promote related cultural heritage to empower northeast China's revitalization and development, and coordinate efforts to enhance the overall level of protection, management and utilization.
